on fateful evening of 26th sept. i was coming down from the stairs,holding my touch screen cell phone.just for a second my attention diverted towards my touch screen the same moment with a thud i slipped down from the stairs. i tried to hold the railing but i again slipped from sixth stair and in order to save my head my hand with full force hit against the wall.nobody was around me i could not utter a word knowingfully well that my shoulder has been dislocated.next thing which occurerd me was my cell. i dialled with my left hand and called my husband from upstairs. he with the help of others took me to the emergency.friends you would"tbelieve i was holding my broken right arm with my left hand on the way to emergency.in the hospital orthopedic gave me a shot of morphine and along with that they kept a sheet under my armpit,two doctors on both sides of the bed with full force pulled my shoulder .i can not explain my pain in words,by the time morphine put me to sleep.that is how my dislocation was reduced. my arm was in s ling when i regained my senses. i was advised to restrict movement of my hand.to my surprise after two days i realized that my fingers have stopped moving, thought of my being handicapped shivers down my spine.i went to the doctor again .he told me that with this injury it should not have happened.i was totally shattered.i was reffered to department of neurology.there my doctor took good care of me a.nd guided me accordingly.nerve conduction test was done.the very moment dotor started steroids. after taking steroids for two months my fingers gradually started moving. i went to the doctor and showed him the improvement.he was so happy to see that i got emotional in front of him.that doctor was like a god to me.from the core of my heart i thanked him. after that he advised me to taper the steroid.that took one more month.finally i was on my own.well during all these months i remained positive with this feeling that i will write with my right hand.i would like to thank my doctors ,physiotherapists,my friends and family members who supported me to sail through this pain.
